PROLOGUE: To all the men in the world. This book is bad news. It’s an apocalypse end to all our excuses and lies. It’s dawn on us. The secret is out. Nowhere to run for cover. Let just hope women will never picked up the books or never discuss it with each other if they did. Amen!
Okay, this book is supposed to be grabbed off the Best-Seller shelf by those CONFUSED women, all types of em’. Then why in heaven did I read this book? (I am a man, at least that was my anatomy look like). Well, I think it’s a crime to categorize (and genderized) any book as For Men or For Women Eyes Only. I think considering this book written by co-operation between man (Greg Behrendt) and woman (Liz Tucillo) why not feast your eyes to read what they think about relationship. Besides, as a man, maybe we should learn that certain signals, behaviors and actions we display towards woman may be appreciate as something else, we wouldn’t want to waste a good relationship over misinterpretation, would we? This book can enlighten men of ‘Do’s and Don’ts in Relationship’ in implicit ways.
What interests me is how they pooled the fact into chapters and non-conventional Q & A fashion so I was keen to read them without residual feeling like I’ve been preached upon. There is no direct judgments like “You skanky whore!!! Why did you date a married guy!!!” No. No such things. Believe me; nobody wants to read ‘Holier than Thou’ kinda stuff.
Now dismiss all thumbs-up-appraisal, this book have a downside for certain cultural (and religion) circle of readers. For example, Chapter 4: He’s Just Not That Into You - If He’s Not Having Sex with You. This fact only applied into certain civilized group (or country) who practices pre-nuptial sexual relationship and not (hypocritically) suitable for us (in non-Morale Patrol means). Though, already in motion picture and featured twice in Oprah Winfrey Show, I sensed the hype is kind of overstated. Suitable for those who look forward for light reading before bed. Believe me, this few pages book took me more days to read when I can (if interesting enough) finish it in 8 hours. It wasn’t written to be read like a novel. It is more like reference book; you get reassured everytime you need it. It’s a relationship guide; with fact molded to befit any possible situation dating women will come to deal. In the same time, it gave no chance to the lesser-of-two-evil types of men. Greg demanded that every woman should settle with Saint and Pope of relationship which is downright wrong. There are no perfect men; Prince Charming is a false hope in the Barbie’s world. So women out there, just settle with us, the flawful, less-than-perfect but bearable one. There always room for improvement. Three stars hands down.
Here’s the chapter list:

I included here an excerpt that can mean something to someone I know. Click to enlarge and read. Guess who? Ten points for whoever gets it right. The prize, you got to brag around for the next century. LOL.

Click to enlarge, and guess to whom this situation most befit.
