Semalam pergi Plaza Shah Alam, tempat asal Tabitha, sebab nak beli earphone original for my Samsung Galaxy Tab. Why do I insist nak beli earphone original, sebab I think being an plug earphone junkie I am, this Samsung earphone (cum earplug) has one of the best at noise cancellation, tahap orang jerit ke octave C6 kat sebelah memang tak dengar.
Why Samsung earphone? Kat luar berlambak lagi earphone yang ada excellent quality. Because Tabitha earphone kan ada call control button yang double-up as music control button. With RealPlayer application update, sekarang saya boleh pause-unpause my music tanpa perlu unlock my Tab. Dulu call-control pause un-pause function ni boleh guna untuk Winamp jer. But since I dah hooked on RealPlayer, Winamp telah digantung tak bertali.
Sebabkan my ears ni takde well developed tragus and anti-tragus, so I can’t hold non-plug earphone *sedih*. Kalau pakai pun, noise memang ganggu cam “Ku lari ke pasar, lalu teriakku” punya style and ia akan tanggal macam tu je, seperti my capang ears ni takde harga diri dibuatnya.
What happened to the old earphone, I lost it but I don’t remember where, somebody might’ve stole it for all I know.
There goes my RM50, the seller of which I knew Mei bagitau yang harga sebenar kat Samsung store RM89, tu yang tak boleh tawar lagi. Fine lah.
Bila tengok aku tengah cari headphone, uncle kedai tu gi tunjuk satu earphone yang dia baru unpack. It’s kinda ugly and bulky. Lepas tu dia suruh aku try pakai that earphone and listen to the music from iPhone. I was like, “Wow!”, the sound quality is awesome and noise cancellation pun tahap autism. But the design kinda turn-off-ish, besar sangat nak sumbat kat telinga, ingat telinga I telinga janda? *apekah?*
Earphone tu hanya untuk iPhone and iPod, tak compatible for Samsung phone in terms of call control. Bila tanya kat uncle tu berapa harga earphone tu. Dia kata RM699, I was like “Damn Gordita!!! Are you serious?”. RM699 tu dah boleh beli iPod Touch White 8GB (CLICK HERE), oh terliurnya.
It was Monster Beats by Dr. Dre, Eminem punya sifu. No wonder lah, sound quality cam studio rakaman kat telinga. But seriously it is hedious (sedapkan hati sebab tak mampu). Uncle tu kata, the rip-off version ada jual dalam belasan to puluhan ringgit boleh dapat, tapi tak boleh lawan sound quality original. Of course-lah kan, Standard 6 flunkies pun tau.
But I still love Samsung earphone, for it’s simplicity. Bukan ke saya ini simple dan tawadduk, wasatiah wal-qanaah orangnya.
