Now Chew This (Part 2)

Now let see kalau korang boleh ingat muscles of mastication (wadafak? Salah entry ke?)

Masseter, temporalis, medial and lateral pterygoid. Pandai.

So saya sangat cautious tentang bad breath, if toothbrushing and mouthwash could not do the trick, try tongue scraper. Nevermind those tongue cleaner yang di-incorporated-kan dibelakang kepala berus gigi anda, marketing crap. Gunakanlah yang seperti ini.

Anda boleh beli dengan harga 0.80 sen satu (at least that what it cost six years ago). I think Guardian ada jual those. Seriously, nothing can be more turning off than a bad breath (ko tak tengok iklan ke bai). I always make sure saya ada mende alah ni everywhere I travel. So silalah scrape those things, eugh. Tapi agak-agaklah bila nak scrape, jangan sampai kena geographical tounge plak. Which have nothing to do with tongue scraping. Hahaha...

You don’t have to scrape your tounge frequently throughout the day, just pada waktu pagi where those deposits actually at its thickest sebab a period of tongue inactivity menyebabkan bacteria ini berproduktiviti di lidah anda. Lainlah kalau kau jenis melantak ketika tidur. Saya tabik spring.

It’s only normal kalau saya sentiasa membawa minty and menthol candy with me everywhere sebab ia lebih praktikal berbanding berus gigi dan ubat gigi. It’s like a big punching-slapping combo to a face. The strongest the mint, the better for me. My favorite is Halls mini in that black plastic pack tu. Rasa tak sedap tapi sangat ‘berangin’. Sangat berguna ketika mengantuk dalam kelas, at least until you build resistance to it.

Since last four months, saya bertukar kepada chewing gum. Bermula dengan Dentyne, tapi tak lama sebab tak ekonomi dan walaupun dalam pack, still chewing gum ini humidifies by itself. So saya bertukar kepada chewing gum dalam botol. Tapi kerana classic stigma masyarakat mengatakan bahawa makan chewing gum dalam kelas itu sangat rude kepada guru or lecturer, so saya hanya mengunyah secara istiqamah sebelum kelas bermula. Not until recently.

Apa yang aku perasan kebelakangan ini, dah ramai dah ikut trend makan chewing gum ni, mostly among my classmate. Well I think that is not mine to copyright, and I think it a healthy thing to do. Wait for this series third installment where I will listdown benefits of chewing gum.

Here’s my review of most of tried-tested brand

Dentyne – multipack, sangat tidak sihat untuk environment. Ia bersepai menjadi little pieces if you are that kind of type suka kunyah chewing gum sampai tidur. It’ll end up scattering around your oral cavity when you wake up that you have to berkumur-kumur nak hilangkan.

Dentyne Xylitol (bottle) – well my first bottled crush. Manufacturer sangat environmentally conscious sebab dia sediakan paper pieces untuk dispose your gum instead of buang kat pavement atau lekat bawah meja.

Xylitol Gum – made in Indonesia, ada exstrak rumpai laut, which aku tak paham signifikannya. Short-term relationship.

Mentos (White) - ‘White teeth bright smile’ katanya.

Wrigley’s Extra (White) – ‘Chew 2 pellets of Extra after eating, helps keep teeth clean and white’ katanya. I just love this one. Seperti konsep strength or weight training, lebih tinggi resistance lebih banyak muscle power needed to overcome it. Kalau kat bahagian tubuh lain, it will produce well-define muscle bulk, tapi kalau kat muka…I swear by this, it’ll give you better svelte facial contour. Lagi satu, it claimed can whitens your teeth, which for a tannin stained teeth as mine sounds like something good.

Wrigley’s Extra (Professional) ‘Cleans teeth in a way you can feel’ katanya dengan microgranule. I kinda like it. Just nak tukar flavor supaya tak boring.

Of all my latest crush adalah Full Fruit Mentos Chewing Gum, strawberry flavor with lime filling. A brilliant move I think. Outstanding. Aku cam tak caya bila tertulis Sugar Free kat situ. Terus teruja.

Apa yang penting, kesemua ni menggunakan artificial sweetener to substitute sugar. My next entry will discuss about artificial sweetener dalam chewing gum nih. Next-next entry will list down benefits of chewing gum.

the black HALL's mini that you said is my always MUST HAVE inside the handbag..kalo tertukar masuk beg lain, sanggup gigih beli baru, walopun kedai tu jual harga rm2.50..tapi bile dah makan, dlm hati nyumpah, apsal la kdai ni nak jual mahal...

time skolah sy gune clorets 4 segi yg rm 1 dulu..its too sugary, so i change after 5 years kot..

chewing gum dlm botol tu rase mcm mahal je..sbb sampai 5 bux..tapi, bile tgk entry awak ni, betul jugak..small packages cost even more kalo dah kene membeli scr istiqamah ni..
