Archives: Amanda Marshall - Let It Rain (1995)

Why did I posted Archives? I believed every song has a story and impact in everyone's life. All songs in Archives are selectively taken from my archives of mp3 collections. Every single song related to some event in my life. Re-listening to them bring back memories.

As for Let It Rain is my again 'walking song' during my short-stint of BBM course. Those time I am a complete loner and I listened to this song together with Goo Goo Dolls 'Let Love In', Kate Havnevik 'Timeless', 'Grace', 'Nowhere Warm', Nelly Furtado 'Say It Right' every walking moment from Perdana Apartment *mind you* to old KUTPM.

Let it Rain...I wasn't praying for one when I listened to these because if it did, I am actually going to ended up soaking wet. Bish...

You see throughout my life in Shah Alam since 2004 to present (yes I have been here long), life was not so easy. I went through hardship and challenges, therefore I rarely complain when life practically throws shit *pardon my language* at me. I've been worst. Not coming from a wealthy family, don't have this and that, so I always settle for less. I learnt to be self-sufficient, self-soothing, self-motivating, self-sustaining.

I am not such brat who complain at every little hint of speedbump in their life. Brat who advertised their pain and not-so-miserable life to seek attention. Those who never experienced hardship will never appreciate a hint of small accomplishment. They'll complain, they'll evade, they'll run for mommy. Such a pathetic being.

Here's a cheer to those who born to a poor family. Here's to more hardship. Here's to more challanges. POORNESS RAWK!!!
