In Bad Case of Loving You (a.k.a Ophthalmology)

I had you image in my retina

It passed through my cornea

My iris and my lenses

Damn you made a spark

When you fell on an acute mark

Running through chiasm dual-sided

Surely you are in my brain, interpreted

Oh, I had you in my first focus

Sharp if not bogus

But sometimes you blinded me

Like close-angle glaucoma

You cataract me like trauma

Your smile in my macula lutea

On the central fovea

I used to clearly see you…oh emmetropia

When you walk away I turned myopia

You blurred before I ended diplopia

Of all the perfectness of my sight

Of all the brightness of light

You chose to fall onto my scotoma

Took advantage of my coloboma
