Witchcraft! I believe many have heard about this terms before. I also believe none of the thing you heard about Witchcraft is a good thing. Have you ever heard of how cruel people used to think about this pathway or should I called it an art. They have been tied up to the big rock and leave drowned in a river. They have been burn in a stake, drag by the horse, hang to death, shoot and various kind of tortures that killed them. Witchcraft is the most beautiful art of magick compare to others. In Witchcraft, we’ll learn about Pentagram, Pentacle, Circle, Spells, Ritual, Dieties, Sabbath, Herbs, Divination and lots more. Pentagram is a star shaped symbol look like an astral men with one point above the other four. That symbolized spirit ruled over flesh (water, air, earth, fire). It also known as Druids’s feet and David’s star. People always confused it to the Satanism kind of pentagram which shaped the other way around with two point above the other three meaning flesh ruled over spirit. Pentacle is as the same shape of Pentagram with a circle around it symbolizes the interconnection between all the five element which is a balance between spirit, fire, water, air and earth.
Circle is the important thing in witch’s life, everytime they wanted to do a ritual they must evoke upon the ruler of the for elements which is salamander for fire, sylph for water, crone for air and dwarf for earth to present and aid in the ritual. The ruler of elements is differ from one witch to another. This invocation also called Circle Casting must be done with the symbolization of each elements such lighted candle to symbolize fire, incense for air, water for water and salt for earth. Before ending the ritual, the circle must be closed by thanking all the ruler of the elements.
Spells casting is the most beautiful art. You can make various kind of spells suits your need such a love spells, wealth, cursing, protection and almost everything in your life. It can be as complicated by including circle casting for the most potent power and can be as easy as chanting the word over the specific colour of candles for example white candle for protection, red for love, blue for calm, green for money and others. Dieties is the most important in witch’s life. It consist of Gods and Goddesses There is many kind of deities from Roman, Egypt, Celtic, and lots more. The most popular dieties are Diana for love, Hecate for cursing, Athena for protection, Aradia for fertility, Kali for power and etceteras.
Sabbath is the witches celebration throughout the year. There is Yule, Lufthansa, Equinox and many more but the most important celebration is Samhain. Samhain or so called Halloween by other is the celebration of witch’s new year. During Samhain, the veils separates two world is the most thinnest during this time and this is the time for the witches to contact their death family. Samhain also a celebration to recharge the power. Witches all over the world will gather with their own coven on a wide green land forming a circle, skyclading, dance and sing. They’ll thanks all the rulers of the elements, the deities, and most important mother earth for the great year before and ahead.
There is much things about Witchcraft need to be know. But most importantly, Witchcraft is not a religion but a way of living instead. Witchcraft covers many aspect in life. Witches all over the world agreed in principles like “What Goes Around, Comes Around!” and “Be Harm To None, Do What You Want!”.
